Here are three things you didn't know about Illinois State Representative Brad Fritts:

1. Childhood Cancer Survivor
Rep. Fritts is a survivor of childhood cancer making him uniquely qualified to advocate on behalf of children currently battling cancer. In his role as state lawmaker, Rep. Fritts makes funding for rural healthcare initiatives a top priority.

2. Multi-Generational Family Farmer
Rep. Fritts is proud to continue his family's tradition of farming here in Illinois. He understands the struggle facing the agriculture community and is working to ensure the voice of farmers is heard in the Illinois General Assembly

3. A Dog Named Lily  
Rep. Fritts adopted a black border collie/lab mix named Lily. Lily has been periodically seen in Springfield with the Representative. However, you'll more often find the the very friendly and inquisitive pup hanging out in Dixon when her human dad is legislating.
