The Illinois State Police have announced that they will make available online today the Illinois Concealed Carry Firearms Instructor and Curriculum applications. This application is necessary for those who want to apply for firearms training licenses under the newly-enacted Illinois concealed carry law. Applicants for a concealed carry license are required to obtain 16 hours of training from one of these licensed trainers. The State Police were required to make this information available by September 7 under the law, which was enacted on July 9.Application forms and additional information from the State Police will be available today at http://www.isp.state.il.us/.
